Because this position offers only a few hours of paid work each week, only persons (or one of two if couple) who have other means of full-time income support (e.g., full-time job, retirement, investment income, etc.) will be considered for this position.



This live-in position requires both HEAVY labor (grounds keeping) and DOMESTIC labor (house cleaning). Rent is separate from wages and not included in wages. Wages are $17 per hour. It is possible to hire and manage others to do certain tasks.



We are looking for a 2+ year commitment.



Rent = $1200; Utilities = $350 (oil, electric, trash, water/sewer, FIOS internet/tv).

Seeking live-in caretaker COUPLE (two people) for 26-acre estate with human bed and breakfast. Around 5 acres is finished mowed/weed whacked; another 8 is pasture maintenance; 13 acres woods) Snow removal needed as well (equipment provided).



Possible to manage grounds keeping person rather than do grounds keeping yourself, especially for big projects.



Also, clean house in between guests (change sheets, stock coffee and TP, etc.). Not a high turnover; guests rent whole house and usually stay 2 or more days. Up to 5 guest groups per month. There is considerable babysitting of guests to ensure that rules are followed. Basement is beneath bed and breakfast so must be "on" guests about noise during quiet hours.
