Shine is a 2012 thoroughbred mare that stands at a stocky 15.3. She was lightly raced, retired soundafter 2 years and only 5 races, making a whopping $734. She was sold after being retired and had been a HUS and western pleasure mount being lightly ridden and shown.

Last year after a significant amount of time off, due to no fault of hers, Shine started learning the ropes of trail riding, cross country, and being a safe husband/kid horse. She has gone cross country with a level mind and stays sure footed. She will swim and cross water when asked, bridges and sketchy scenarios she has done. She can go alone or in a group, front or back. Incredibly consistent and gorgeous gaits will get you noticed. . Shine will remain consistent and professional through her gaits with your grandma, husband or kids on her. Fun enough for a professional to be competitive though.

Shine has unfortunately only been ridden sporadically the past few months, and although she is an absolute gem, she is very out of condition, needs to be brought back into a working program to gain muscle, and stamina, she will need to be conditioned and properly brought back into riding as she's been sitting eating a round bales for months with absolutely no exercise.

She is still green over fences, she has done a few courses and cross country adventures and the potential is absolutely there with correct training and conditioning.. She would be absolutely safe enough for any level of rider to finish with a trainer, for any type of show career desired.

UTD on everything, no known vices. Very cuddly and personable mare, not "marish". Can live inside or outside.

Asking $5000 OBO, price will increase in spring when she is brought back into consistent work and starts showing.
