A promising opportunity for someone looking for a quality project, but without a significant budget. Priced as a steal or happy to send him to a qualified individual on the cuff.
Percy is a rising 7 year old, 15'3+ hand, unraced TB gelding. He is Jockey Club registered; so eligable for TIP classes and awards. I purchased him as a quick resale; but he is a horse who is going to require a bit more time to rise to his full potential.
The positives:
⭐️ Three good gaits & brave and natural over fences
⭐️ Soft mouth
⭐️ Loves hacking out
⭐️ Ships well and is the same horse off the property. Loves the attention that comes with horse shows
⭐️ A cuddly, in your pocket, personality
⭐️ Not a mean bone in his body. Has not shown us a buck, rear, spin, etc.
The negative:
⭐️ Working through some tension; which shows up the most in the canter. His go-to if he is upset about the canter work is to try to bolt.
I would happily keep him and continue playing with him, but there simply aren't enough hours in the day.
