Unique sport horse facility in Haymarket, VA is looking for someone special to join our team! Assistant trainer or working student position available with A Training Vision, run by USDF Gold Medalist Ampara Visser.

Opportunities include:

Financial compensation commensurate with level of experience
Instruction and mentoring in teaching and training skills
Potential for lessons and competition on FEI horses. Previous assistants earned Bronze and Silver medals on ATV horses
Board for one horse
Housing option for the right candidate
Expansion possibilities for off site lessons and training
Flexible work schedule in a relaxed and supportive environment with wonderful, down to earth clients

Job Description:
Assistant trainer or working student for basic barn management, horse care, instruction, and riding horses in training
Some dressage background and teaching experience are required for a paid position and preferred for a working student position, but willing to train the right candidate.
Good people skills, self-starter, and attention to detail are a must.
Feeding, minimal stall cleaning, and ability to recognize and care for minor veterinary issues, such as wound care and leg wrapping, required
Current position is part time. Expansion to full time work is available
