I'm looking for a short-term housemate to share the home I'm currently renting on a small farm just off Earlysville Road, near the airport. The rent for the available room is $500 per month, which includes all utilities and high-speed internet. Month-to-month arrangement preferred. Ideal for traveling nurses or other professionals needing a peaceful, flexible place to land.
The available room is a loft space, accessible by a ladder, so unfortunately the house is not well-suited for anyone with mobility challenges.
The home has a washer/dryer in unit, designated parking spots, and a large porch with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There are walking trails throughout the property and the neighborhood, making it easy to enjoy time outdoors. It's a fantastic area with kind, respectful neighbors and a peaceful, rural feel, while still being close to town.
I live here with my school-aged child (who is here part-time), a sweet dog and cat who get along with everyone, and a handful of farm animals. The household is LGBTQ+ friendly, non-smoking, and calm.
Optional horse board is available for one small horse or pony at $200/month. This is self-care board and does not include hay, grain, or supplements. Horse must be respectful of electric fencing and compatible with others. Preference given to mares.
